Radoniqi: The CEC has advanced in organizing these elections

The start of electoral reform and the revision of the Law on Financing of Political Parties are the demands that civil society has repeated today on Global Election Day. Transparency in the organization and administration of elections in Kosovo was discussed at a roundtable organized by the Central Election Commission (CEC) and the chairman of this institution, Kreshnik Radoniqi said that they have made progress in terms of organizing elections in the country. However, he stressed that a new law is very necessary to address many issues that have been raised by various election monitors. He said that they intend to make progress in electoral transparency regarding the results of the candidates. While the director of the Democratic Institute of Kosovo, Ismet Kryeziu said that it is the best momentum for Kosovo to start with electoral reform.
