Prosecution recommends two years in prison and a 9,000 euro fine for the Serb Dantic for attack on KFOR
A court hearing was held against Serb Marko Dantic, accused of attacking KFOR in Zvecan on May 29, 2023. The prosecution has recommended that Dantic be sentenced to two years in effective imprisonment and six months, which can be replaced by a nine thousand euro fine, for two criminal offenses.
At the court hearing, Judge Valon Kurtaj said that an agreement was reached between the prosecution and the defendant to plead guilty on two criminal offenses.

The parties have agreed that the convicted person for the criminal offense of "participation in a crowd and hooliganism" will pay a fine of nine thousand euros.
At least 25 soldiers of the KFOR peacekeeping mission in Kosovo were injured as a result of clashes with Serbian citizens in the municipality of Zvecan in northern Kosovo.
NATO had strongly condemned the unprovoked attacks against KFOR troops in northern Kosovo, which led to the injury of 25 soldiers.
