The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met today with Christopher Hyland, a close associate of former US President Bill Clinton and leader of his presidential campaign. Prime Minister Kurti thanked Hyland for his long commitment to Kosovo and lasting peace in the region, being one of the first people to bring the issue of Kosovo to the attention of the then President of the United States of America, Bill Clinton, it is said in a press release. With Hyland, Prime Minister Kurti spoke about the special importance of relations with the United States of America, especially in the field of economic development through potential investments of American investors in Kosovo. Kurti also spoke about security and peace in the Balkans, and the dangers that the unprovoked russian aggression in Ukraine can pose for the region.
