The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, visited Kosovo on Sunday, where he paid homage to the Martyrs' Memorial Complex in Gllogjan. The Municipality of Deçan has honored President Begaj with the title "Honorary Citizen of Deçan".

President Bajram Begaj highly appreciates all the sacrifice and blood shed by the martyrs for freedom in Kosovo. He added that freedom must be protected at all costs.

The Chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, while welcoming President Begaj, has emphasized that in the Martyrs' Memorial Complex in Gllogjan, there are brave heroes who contributed to the liberation of the country.

After this visit, the former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Bajram Begaj, was declared an "Honorary Citizen" of the municipality of Deçan.
