President Begaj for the first time in Kosovo, received with a state ceremony
With the highest state honors, the president of the country, Vjosa Osmani, received her counterpart from Albania, Bajram Begaj, in a meeting. This is Begaj's first official visit outside Albania since he got elected as head of state.
At the invitation of President Osmani, Begaj will stay in Kosovo for two days, while he will also meet the Prime Minister and the Speaker of the Assembly.
Begaj will also meet the leaders of the opposition parties in Kosovo and pay homage to the Jashari family cemetery and the grave of the historical president Ibrahim Rugova.
He will also pay respects in front of the memorial for Missing Persons in Pristina.
The President of Albania will also have a meeting with the commander of KFOR, the troops of the Albanian Armed Forces within KFOR in Peja, as well as the mayor of Prizren Shaqir Totaj.
