The spokesperson of the European Union, Peter Stano, has said that Kosovo has violated the 2014 Agreement on official visits with Serbia, after the ban on the visit of the Serbian Patriarch Porferije.

In a press conference today, the EU spokesperson said that "Kosovo has flagrantly ignored the importance that the Serbian Orthodox Church continues to have for a part of Kosovo's citizens.

He added that this is contrary to the basic principles of any democratic and multi-ethnic society.

Meanwhile, speaking about tomorrow's meeting in Brussels where the chief negotiators of Kosovo and Serbia will meet, regarding the CBK Regulation prohibiting the use of the dinar in Kosovo, Stano said that an attempt will be made to find a solution to this topic.

On the issue of the dinar, the parties met five more times in Brussels, but they failed to reach a compromise agreement.
