Poisoning from the drinking water suspected in Elez Han

About 100 citizens of Elez Han have requested medical help since yesterday. Late in the evening, dozens of patients with symptoms of poisoning were sought help at the Main Center of Family Medicine. The mayor of this municipality, Mehmet Ballazhi, informs KosovaPress that there are suspicions that the poisoning came from drinking water. Meanwhile, it is announced that the Institute of Public Health has been notified, but that the water samples have not yet been taken. Furthermore, he said that only last night 70 patients were treated at the MCFM of Elez Han. While emphasizing that it is not an alarming condition, Ballazhi claims that patients have symptoms of poisoning.
