Bulgaria vetoed the negotiating framework of Northern Macedonia, for the start of negotiations with the European Union, because the Bulgarian conditions that Sofia insists on, have not been met. The decision was announced on Tuesday by the top Bulgarian officials, who demand that the language wording be respected in accordance with the 2017 Agreement, guidelines with precise deadlines for implementing the agreement and a clear text that the Macedonian minority in Bulgaria is not recognized.

Regarding this issue and the possibility of damaging the Albanian interest by such a decision, KosovaPress spoke with the Bulgarian albanologist, Anton Panchev, who, driven by disagreements regarding the character and ethnic origin of a large part of the population from the territories of the Northern Macedonia, decided to publish a summary of the facts so that, as he says, to know the truth.
