Over 1,800 cases of domestic violence during the January-August period, Prishtina region leads with the largest number
In Kosovo during the
period January - August, 2022, 1852 cases of domestic violence have been
reported, where the majority of cases are in the Prishtina region, as for
persons suspected and arrested for domestic violence, the majority are male and
adults. As for the victims of domestic violence, it turns out that most of them
are female.
This is what was said in the report of the
Group for Legal and Political Studies (GLPS) at today's discussion table
"Reporting and treatment of cases of domestic violence".
