The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has told the media that Kosovo has done everything that was expected of it and has taken all the necessary steps so that the states and MPs support this membership.
Waiting for the result with hope, Osmani added that this is a cause not only of the state but also of the citizens of Kosovo, who remain the only Europeans without access to the European Court of Human Rights.
Today from 14:00, the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy of the Council of Europe will meet, where it is expected to vote on the report of Dora Bakojanis, rapporteur for Kosovo in the Council of Europe, while in Kosovo they expect the report to receive the green light and pass for review in the Parliamentary Assembly, which would then pave the way for the final decision by the Committee of Ministers of Foreign Affairs.
The inclusion of Kosovo in this body has been re-updated in recent weeks, since, with the request of the Government of Kosovo to the Cadastral Agency for the transfer of 24 hectares of land in the name of the Monastery of Deçan, one of the main conditions for membership has been fulfilled. /A.Shala/
