President Vjosa Osmani said that the commemoration of the Holocaust is a human obligation of everyone, not only to honor the victims, but also to keep the human conscience awake so that such acts are never repeated. On the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Osmani said that millions of lost lives of the Jewish people are honored. "In the darkest times for them, Albanians opened their hearts and doors, demonstrating nobility and humanism. In remembrance of this day, we are strongly committed against hatred and discrimination and we continue our commitment to promote the message: The Holocaust, never again," Osmani wrote on Facebook.
