Osmani pays homage to the memorial of the Lybeniq Massacre

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani together with the Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, accompanied by the Mayor of Peja, Gazmend Muhaxheri, paid homage today and laid a wreath at memorial of the martyrs of Lybeniq in Peja, in it 23rd anniversary. President Osmani said that the sacrifice of the martyrs of Lybeniq has enabled us today enjoy our centuries-old aspiration for freedom. "We owe everything to these people who have given everything up to their most precious, that is, their lives, because we could never enjoy freedom, we could never achieve independence if they did not give their lives for it", said President Osmani, adding that today she met many family members who have lost their loved ones, while some of them have lost their whole family.
