The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, through a statement about the elections in the municipalities of North Mitrovica, Zvecan, Zubin Potok and Leposavic, has called on the citizens to use their right at this important moment for democracy.

Osmani said the citizens' vote is the most powerful means to decide the future of their municipality and to hold the elected officials accountable.

"I urge you to reject those who come to you with threats and blackmail. I encourage you to send a strong and clear message with your participation in the local elections of April 23, 2023," she said.
