Osmani is waiting for the decision of the Constitutional Court to decree the chief state prosecutor: It is not a decision that can be taken in a hurry
It has been two months since the proposed name for Chief State Prosecutor was sent to the office of the President of Kosovo, but Osmani has not yet made a decision on whether or not to decree the candidate proposed by the KPC, Blerim Isufaj, as chief state prosecutor.
President Osmani stated exclusively for KosovaPress that they are analyzing the additional materials sent by the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council and any circumstances created regarding this process.
One of the candidates for Chief State Prosecutor, prosecutor Shqipdon Fazliu has submitted a request to the Constitutional Court to assess the constitutionality of the election procedure for the post of Chief State Prosecutor, requesting as a temporary measure the suspension of the procedures for the appointment of Blerim Isufaj.
