After the Olympic Games, Kosovo will also participate in the Paralympic Games in Paris, France. Kosovo will be represented there by the athlete from Malisheva, Grevist Bytyqi, who today received the state flag from the country's president Vjosa Osmani.

On this occasion, Osmani said that this is a historic achievement for Kosovo and expressed her conviction that athlete Bytyqi will shine in his competition.

"We are already proud that Kosovo will be represented at the Paralympic Games. Kosovo's membership in the Paralympic Committee has been a historic success for Kosovo, even though we are already participating in the Olympic Games three times, it is the first time due to membership in the International Paralympic Committee that we are also participating in the Paralympic Games in Paris, and even though we are participating with only one athlete, it is truly a historic representation and I am convinced that you will represent Kosovo with dignity and Kosovo will shine as it has shone every time in the international arena through our athletes", said Osmani.
