Osmani said that it is time to take appropriate steps in this direction regarding bilateral cooperation in the field of security and defense. After receiving him with the highest state honors, Osmani asked the Albanian president for continued support in Kosovo's integration processes. President Osmani has said that Kosovo counts on Albania's experience on its way to applying for the status of a candidate country in the European Union, for which she has emphasized that it will happen by the end of this year. Osmani has said that the fact that Albania is a member of NATO creates greater security in the entire region and has emphasized that Kosovo's goal remains membership in this alliance.
