One hundred euros allocated by the Government of Kosovo for pensioners, private and public workers, and students is a short-term assistance to these categories of society and not a long-term solution to their problems. This is how professors of economics in the country have assessed the decision, who ask the executive for changes in fiscal policies, to reduce the excise tax on oil and the abolition of VAT on some products. At the time when inflation reached 10 percent, university professor Muhamet Sadiku told KosovaPress that the government's measures in the amount of 100 million euros are a costly effort for the state budget, but insufficient for the citizens at this time.
