At the nationwide protest in support of the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), which will be held this afternoon in Tirana, one of the participants is the Democratic Party of Kosovo MP, Ganimete Musliu, who called on as many citizens as possible to join the protest.

She said she hopes the protest will ensure that the call for justice reaches international institutions, as, according to Musliu, the injustice in The Hague has reached its peak.

“ I expect this protest to deliver our voice where it needs to be heard — to the ears of international justice — because the height of injustices in The Hague has already been reached. I hope this will be the last protest, and that the leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army will return to Kosovo as victors, because they are victors. They are not criminals; they did not commit crimes — they defended the Albanian people and the citizens of Kosovo from genocidal extermination,” she said.

Today, starting at 5:00 PM, a nationwide protest in support of the former KLA leaders currently on trial in The Hague will take place at Skanderbeg Square in Tirana.

A large number of citizens are expected to attend, while more than 60 buses carrying citizens from Kosovo have departed for the Albanian capital to take part in the protest.

A similar protest demanding justice for the KLA leaders was held in August in Pristina and on September 14 in The Hague.
