LDK: Foreign policy is passive, breaking the law has become the norm in the MFAD

The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has addressed a number of criticisms towards the executive in relation to the foreign service. The deputy chairwoman of this party, Shqipe Mjekiqi-Sadiku, said in a press conference that the violation of legal rules has become the norm in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora (MFAD), while she accused the same ministry of inaction against Serbia's campaign against Kosovo.

Mjekiqi-Sadiku first mentioned the job competition opened by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for 21 officials in diplomatic missions, which competition had been declared illegal by the Independent Supervisory Council. She said that with this competition, Article 38 of the Law on Public Officials, which defines regulation within the same categories, and also Article 17, has been violated by not publishing this competition in the information system of human resources management.

Then Mjekiqi- Sadiku mentioned the abolition of the General Directorate in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, saying that this action severely affects the operation of the foreign service...
