LDK condemns Haxhiu's language: There is no credibility, prosecutors should not surrender
The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has reacted to the language of the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, towards the prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution of Pristina, Iliaz Beqiri, used on Friday in the court session against her, in which she is accused of throwing gas.
Haxhiu asked the prosecutor to surrender
and withdraw from the indictment, as there is a lack of expertise and facts
about the tear gas.
LDK deputy, Doarsa Kica Xjelili, said that
Haxhiu does not have the credibility to lead an institution that aims to design
and implement vetting in justice and a person who asks prosecutors to
surrender.
Kica Xhelili said that this is not the
first time that Haxhiu threatens and intimidates others and added that she
fears that it will not be the last either.
