The drop in exports, the increase in inflation and trade deficit, and sanctions are being considered by the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) as the biggest failures of the Kurti government. According to this party, this government is synonymous with incompetent governance, but which still stands proud.

In a press conference, the member of the LDK leadership, Berat Rukiqi, said that the government's incompetence to manage is costing the "pockets of the citizens". He added that this government has failed in supporting exports, supporting local production, and the private sector.

Rukiqi, while criticizing the Kurti Government for incompetence, emphasized that there has never been a 56.5 percent increase in the trade deficit within a three-year period. He added that from 2022 to 2023, the export to Kosovo has decreased by 101 million euros.

Among the failures that Rukiqi mentioned during the Kurti government, were the sanctions, which he said have a direct financial impact worth hundreds of millions of euros and important projects.

In addition to these, the member of the LDK leadership, Berat Rukiqi, said that "as a result of the incompetence of the government, the rate of inflation has affected that 100 euros in 2020 now have the value of 81.65 euros". He emphasized that citizens should spend the largest percentage of their salary on buying basic things. /Z. Zeneli/
