The participation in the Western Balkans Leaders’ Summit, which will be held tomorrow in Tirana, will be Albin Kurti's first official visit to Albania, in his second term as Prime Minister. In his first term, Kurti had respected the tradition that had been established by the institutional leaders in Kosovo to make their first visit abroad in Tirana after accepting office. But he did not do so in March, when he began his second term, despite receiving an invitation from Albania's Prime minister. For this reason, his not so good relations with the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, are being mentioned. Even though such a thing is being denied by Vetëvendosje, political analysts in Kosovo and Albania say that relations between the two countries are at their lowest point.

Vetëvendosje MP, Arjeta Fejza, in a statement for KosovaPress, said that the Kurti Government is engaged in implementing the agreements reached with Albania, in response to those who are criticizing the relations between the two countries.
