The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti said that the increase in the number of deaths and positive cases of COVID-19 has been surprising and unpredictable. In a video-message, Kurti said that as government, they are taking responsibility, and that the measures taken and the vaccination have yielded results.

He said that if anti-COVID-19 measures were taken during June and July, when the numbers of new cases were lower, then there would be numerous reactions.
