The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, stated today that the raising prices of basic products and edible oil is the cost of freedom and democracy. He said that Russian aggression in Ukraine is dictating the rise in prices and that the government does not set them, much less him. At the government meeting, the chief executive promised rigorous checks for manipulation and possible profit in the name of the crisis. He said that Kosovo's dependence on imports is great, a consequence as he said of previous governments that did not prioritize domestic production.
