The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, in a post on Twitter this morning wrote that our country's relations with Greece are becoming closer. He wrote this talking about the dinner he had for the Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Dendias, who arrived yesterday for an official visit and also met with President Vjosa Osmani. In the meeting with the Greek chief diplomat, President Vjosa Osmani stated that Kosovo and Greece share the same Euro-Atlantic values, so he asked for Greek support for membership in the Council of Europe, Partnership for Peace and NATO, as a guarantee not only for the state of Kosovo, but also the region. She expressed readiness to deepen further cooperation, with the hope that the decision on the recognition of Kosovo's independence by Greece will be formalized soon.
