The American envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, has arrived at the Kosovo Government building where he is holding a meeting with the Prime Minister of the country, Albin Kurti.

Previously, Escobar met the president Vjosa Osmani.

Escobar is staying in Kosovo at a time when the situation in the north of the country is tense and the local Serbs have set up barricades blocking roads leading to Jarinje and Bërnjak, border points with Serbia.
