The Prime Minister of Kosova, Albin Kurti, announced that during his visit to Sofia he met with his Bulgarian counterpart, Dimitar Glavchev.

In his account on X, Kurti thanked the Prime Minister of Bulgaria for the warm welcome and said that they discussed the areas where they can increase cooperation and strengthen bilateral relations.

"During my first visit to Sofia as part of the Vienna Economic Forum, I had my first meeting with Bulgaria's PM, Dimitar Glavchev. I thanked him for his warm welcome and we discussed areas where we can increase cooperation and strengthen our very good bilateral relations.” said Kurti.

Meanwhile, in the announcement of the Government, it is stated that this year it is planned to organize a joint forum of the businesses of Kosovo and Bulgaria.

"Bulgaria recognized Kosovo's independence in March 2008, while this year we mark the 15th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. So far, we have signed eight bilateral agreements and some others are waiting to be finalized", the announcement states, among other things.
