Kurti and Nenad Canak discuss the issue of war missing persons

The issue of missing persons during the war in Kosovo was the main topic of the meeting between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti and the LVV MP in the Assembly of Kosovo, Hydajet Hyseni, with the Chairman of the Social Democratic League of Vojvodina, Nenad Canak. Prime Minister Kurti and the opposition politician in Serbia agreed that Serbia should open the archives and provide information on the mass graves allegedly located on its territory. Kurti informed Canak that there are 1632 people who are considered missing and stressed that the government will do its utmost for all the missing persons, regardless of their ethnicity. According to a Government statement, in the meeting it was discussed the need to strengthen social democracy in the region, the new dialogue on the status of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, which is based on equality, as well as mutual recognition.
