The US Representative for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, and the EU Special Representative for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, hosted opposition leaders at the US Embassy in Pristina. The Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi after the meeting with Escobar and Lajçaku said that they discussed political developments in the country and the role of PDK as the leader of the opposition in the country. Krasniqi says the PDK supports dialogue as a mechanism for reaching a final comprehensive agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, which ensures mutual recognition without compromising state sovereignty.
