The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC) has provided details regarding a decision which obliges Chief Prosecutors and Prosecutors to notify their direct supervisors, namely the Chief State Prosecutor and the Chairman of the Prosecutorial Council, regarding communication with representatives of other powers, saying that all this aims at full respect of the institutional hierarchy and the functioning of the prosecutorial system in the most coordinated and efficient way.

"For the sake of fair and accurate information, this decision does not restrict or prohibit communication with other powers, but only obliges chief prosecutors and prosecutors to notify direct supervisors of any communication and meetings they hold with the representatives of the legislative, executive power and with the representatives of the international institutions”, it is said in the announcement.
