Kosovo's economy is shrinking by 5.9%, and every day of delay in the implementation of the recovery plan will have a further impact on the economic downturn.

This was announced by the Governor of the Central Bank (CBK), Fehmi Mehmeti, who says that the Covid-19 pandemic, in addition to the consequences in terms of health, it has severely weakened the economic perspective of Kosovo. And heads of economic chambers assess that if the parliamentary parties do not act urgently to revise the budget and ratify the international financial agreements for economic recovery, it will lead to the massive collapse of businesses in Kosovo.
