The railway infrastructure of Kosovo is among the most powerful economic pillars of the country, which with the rehabilitation of the Fushe Kosova-Mitrovica railway line, will be able to rise in quality and safety, meeting all the technical requirements required in the railway pan – European network.

This was said at the ceremony of the start of the second phase of works for the rehabilitation of the Fushe Kosova-Mitrovica railway line 10, and includes 34.4 kilometers at a cost of 48 million euros. In this ceremony, it was also said that 50% of this amount is a grant from the European Union, while the other 50% is a loan from two different banking institutions.
