No vaccine has been discovered yet, however health institutions promise that Kosovo will be among the priority countries that will receive vaccines to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. Such statements are viewed with skepticism, as it is said that the country has so far failed in the health sector, which will make it difficult to secure a budget for the purchase of these vaccines.

Representatives of doctors and patients, say that Kosovo should not rely on donations, because it may be a priority in the region, but not globally. Whereas, from the Ministry of Health, say that they have been talking to international partners for some time about providing a vaccine against COVID-19.
