Kosovo asks Montenegro to allow children to cross the border only with a birth certificate

The Montenegrin coast, especially the Albanian city of Ulcinj, is one of the favorite destinations for Kosovars during the summer months. However, for families with children, there is already another problem. Children up to the age of 16 cannot travel with a birth certificate, but only with a passport.

Last year, Montenegro suspended the previous decision, according to which children under the age of 18 from the Republic of Kosovo were allowed to cross the border only with a birth certificate.

The Deputy Minister of Tourism in Montenegro, Armend Milla, called on the citizens of Kosovo to respect this decision until another decision is made, as this would avoid confusion and misunderstandings at the border points...
