The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca said that inequality against women must be fought, especially those of the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities, which continue to have major challenges in education, employment and inclusion in social processes. He has participated in the Multicultural Festival dedicated to these communities, to whom he said that their causes are also his and that he will support them towards development. The head of the legislative institution said that women continue to be more discriminated in employment and that this shows that this phenomenon must be fought. He promised support for the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities, to whom he also said that women and girls of this community should be supported in order for them to be involved in social and decision-making processes.
