State homages were paid near the tombstone of police officers killed in the line of duty, near the General Directorate of Police in Prishtina.

Present were the Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Sveçla and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Donika Gërvalla.

Whereas at 11:00 the mayor Glauk Konjufca will visit the families of Enver Zymberi and Afrim Bunjaku.

Meanwhile, at 13:00 Glauk Konjufca and other officials pay homage in front of the memorial plaque at the place where Enver Zymberi fell.

While from 14:00 a professional dance competition will be held in honor of police officers who fell in the line of duty - Ujmani Lake - First Bridge.

While there was no media statement during the riots, state officials have chosen social networks to remember police officers who have fallen in the line of duty.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, through a post on his profile on the social network Facebook, said that today it has been 13 years since police officer Enver Zymberi was killed in the north of the country.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti says that on this anniversary of Zymberi, state sovereignty and territorial integrity, the rule of law and public order in the north of the country are at a completely different level.

"This is thanks to the persistence of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in realizing its right and the relentless and professional commitment of Enver's colleagues, members of the Kosovo Police", wrote Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

Meanwhile, on the Facebook social network, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, remembered the hero Enver Zymberi, on the 13th anniversary of his heroic fall.

Minister Xhelal Sveçla also remembered police officer Afrim Bunjaku, who was killed in the Serbian terrorist attack in Banjska on September 24, and other police officers who fell in the line of duty.

"In honor of the sublime sacrifice of Hero Enver Zymberi, for three years we have been marking July 26 as the Memorial Day of police officers who fell in the line of duty. Hero Afrim Bunjaku, killed in the Serbian terrorist attack in Banjska on September 24, has been added to the list of the fallen, his comrades in glory, this year," Svecla wrote.
