KLI against illegal promotions in the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, requires investigation
Kosovo Law Institute (KLI) has requested from the Chief Prosecutor of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo to initiate a criminal investigation against Chief State Prosecutor Aleksandër Lumezi and Prosecutor Bahri Hyseni for conflict of interest in the case where the latter was promoted, in the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor. And appealed that the additional income of prosecutors of the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor not to exceed 25 percent of the basic salary.
KLI has concluded that the prosecutors of the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor are the highest paid public officials in Kosovo, while their promotion is done illegally, for which, on Saturday it published the report “Legality of promotions and benefits in the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor”.
