KLA Epopee, many citizens visit the "Adem Jashari" Memorial Complex

The "Adem Jashari" Memorial Complex was visited today by many citizens, from different cities, in honor of the 26th anniversary of the heroic fall of the legendary commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), Adem Jashari and the Jashari family. Citizens who were honoring the Jashari family, expressed gratitude for the fallen and their sacrifice for freedom.

Citizen Nazmi Shaljani, who visits the complex every March 5 with his grandson, emphasized that the Jashars are the reason why the Albanian people today enjoy the freedom they never had before.

The other citizen, Murtez Salihu, hopes that this people will enjoy freedom and become more sober to be united as a nation.

Meanwhile, a friend of Hamëz Jashari and Enver Haliti, Halil Koliqi, the former superior of the KLA, recalled telling a short story. He says he is happy to have met them and belongs to their generation.

Likewise, Sheremet Jashari continues that the Serbs have used all methods to make Kosovo theirs, but it was in vain because according to him it was and is the Albanians'. Saddened, he hopes that the black boot of the Serb will never step on the Albanian soil again.

Meanwhile, the other citizen Bislimi emphasizes that he came to Prekaz to honor the Jashari family, since according to him, the Jashars are the reason that Kosovo is where it is today.

During the day, the chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, the chairman of the Municipality of Presheva, Shqipërim Arifi, and many other citizens of the country and the region visited the "Adem Jashari" Memorial Complex.
