KAS: The Gross Domestic Product has increased by over 14.5 percent
The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has released data of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the third quarter of 2021 (Q3 2021), according to which GDP in Q3 this year has marked a real increase of 14.53 percent, compared to the same quarter of the previous year. While from the activities that have marked a real decline in this quarter was construction.
Economic activities that increased in this quarter were: wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, transport and storage, accommodation and food service activities (35.30%); scientific, professional and technical activities, administrative and support services activities (10.90%); arts, entertainment and leisure, household goods production activities for own use and other services (7.43%); financial and insurance activities (5.83%); information and communication (4.25%); extractive and processing industry; electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply; water supply; waste treatment and management activities, rehabilitation (3.62%); agriculture, forestry and fishing (2.03%); public administration, social security, education and health (1.53%); real estate activities (1.40%).
