The Olympic judo team headed today to Tokyo, Japan, where from July 23 to August 8, 2021, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games will be held. The judokas, led by coach Driton Kuka, will initially be stationed in Sanjo Municipality, where they will prepare, before being transferred on July 21 to the Olympic Village in Tokyo. The team was accompanied to the Pristina International Airport by the head of the mission of the Kosovo Olympic team, Jeton Rudari. Along with five judokas: Majlinda Kelmendi, Distria Krasniqi, Nora Gjakova, Akil Gjakova and Loriana Kuka, Flaka Loxha also traveled with the team, as a sparing partner.
