The Ambassador of Japan to Kosovo, Keisuke Yamanaka, said that through this project, the Municipality of Dragash will be supported for the construction of the Waste Landfill and the placement of containers for the collection of waste in the village of Restelica.
He added that this project will improve the garbage collection service and will contribute to making the city cleaner and more comfortable for the residents of this area to live.
Meanwhile, in relation to the donation to the Municipality of Mamusha, Yamanaka emphasized that with the signing of this project, the citizens of Mamusha will no longer need to travel to other municipalities to have the X-ray taken, because the MFMC will be equipped with such an apparatus within the framework of the Japanese Aid Grant for Basic Human Security Projects for 2023.
About 1500 patients a year are expected to benefit from this project with X-ray equipment.
Xheladini emphasized that this support from Japan is not the first for Dragash, for which he mentioned that a short time ago, they received four trucks and other tools for the transport and collection of waste, a collection point for the temporary storage of waste in the village of Brod, as well as the repair of the place hit by the avalanche and snow in the village of Restelica.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Mamusha Municipality, Abdulhadi Krasniç said that this is the signing of the first support project with the Embassy of Japan, for which he added that he expects other support in the fields of education, health and agriculture.
During this signing ceremony, it was said that the Embassy of Japan will remain committed to supporting Kosovo in its efforts to develop the country and improve people's lives.
