Insults and fierce clashes, all that happened in the Inquiry Committee in the Assembly
With fierce clashes and insults, the meeting of the Inquiry Committee was held on Wednesday regarding the level of management of the work of the members of the Foreign Service and the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora. The members of the committee from the ranks of the position and the opposition did not agree on the list of witnesses and their ranking. Until the MPs of the government presented their list, the same was presented by the opposition and a list was presented by the experts. The position demanded that the investigation be carried out from 2011 to 2023, while according to the opposition, the focus should be on the period 2021-2023, during the current government. The members of the committee did not move from their positions and the list was not put to the vote at all, but the clashes and insults between the members of the committee were not absent.
The member of the committee from the ranks of the VV, MP Arbëreshë Kryeziu-Hyseni said that the committee should approve a single list. According to her, the list of the opposition and experts should be merged into the list presented by the majority.
But the PDK MP, Ariana Musliu-Shoshi, did not agree with this, who asked the committee to approve the three lists presented.
Meanwhile, according to the LDK MP, Rrezarta Krasniqi, the time period of the investigation should be in the years 2021-2023, since, as she said, the decision of the plenary session was also taken.
The AAK MP, Time Kadrijaj, who is also the chairperson of the committee, had the same request.
But the VV MP, Fitore Pacolli, did not agree with these statements, who said that the former minister of foreign affairs, Enver Hoxhaj, who is the current PDK MP, should be invited as a witness.
PDK MP Ariana Musliu-Shoshi reacted to her with the microphone turned off, which prompted the VV MP Arbëreshë Kryeziu-Hyseni to call the opposition MP ignorant.
However, Musliu-Shoshi insisted that all the former diplomats dismissed by Minister Donika Gërvalla should be called for testimony.
At one point, Musliu-Shoshi told VV MP Fitore Pacolli that every fight with her is lost. But Pacolli replied that she did not go to the Assembly to fight with his colleagues, but to prove the professional work.
Amid these clashes, the chairperson of the committee, Time Kadrijaj, closed the work of this committee without reaching an agreement on the approval of the list of witnesses. /KosovaPress/
