The institutional leaders during this year had bilateral visits and participation in international summits and forums. Although seen as positive and important in strengthening Kosovo's position in the international arena, it is estimated that concrete results were lacking, especially in lobbying for visa liberalization. The expert on international relations, Dritëro Arifi says for KosovaPress that despite the importance of participation in the international arena, institutional leaders should also focus on achieving results from each meeting. According to him, apart from President Vjosa Osmani who reached a result with the signing of the free trade agreement with the state of Switzerland, he has not seen anything tangible from the visits and participation of Prime Minister Albin Kurti in international forums.
