Despite the fact that in recent days there has been a decrease in positive cases of COVID-19 in Kosovo, all capacities of the Infectious Diseases Clinic at UCCK continue to be full. Currently in this clinic, where patients with COVID-19 are treated, there are 110 patients and 90% of them are on oxygen therapy. Most of these patients are with the British variant of the virus and have more severe symptoms.

This was announced by the acting director of the Infectious Diseases Clinic, Izet Sadiku, who told KosovaPress that despite the fact that the number of hospitalized patients has started to decrease in other COVID clinics, the situation in Infectious Diseases continues to be aggravated.
