Hoxhaj demands a common opposition front to remove Kurti from power
The MP of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, demands a common opposition and social front, as he says, to remove Prime Minister Albin Kurti from power. According to him, only in this form populists leave the government and take responsibility for the major issues that Kosovo has. Hoxhaj, who is also the deputy speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo from the ranks of the PDK, says that he finds it impossible to cooperate in the future with the current party in power, Vetëvendosje.
Hoxhaj, in an interview for KosovaPress, states that there is no mood for early elections in Kosovo, but it is expected that there will be regular elections either in December of this year or January of 2025.
However, Hoxhaj also criticizes the other two opposition parties, LDK and AAK, as he says that they have been reduced to narrow interests for the creation of a common front, which, according to him, would not necessarily mean a pre-election coalition.
The former acting chairman of the PDK says that he finds it impossible to cooperate with Vetëvendosje in the future.
According to him, the differences with Prime Minister Kurti are big and difficult to overcome.
