The Basic Court in Prishtina acquitted Pal Lekaj, Albulena Haxhiu, Besa Bafti and Donika Kadaj Bujupi. According to the indictment filed on April 8, 2016, Haxhiu, Lekaj, Baftiu, Kadaj-Bujupi and Haxhiu are accused of possessing tear gas without authorization. The indictment states that on 19 February 2016, around 12:20, in the lobby of the Assembly of Kosovo, after the break in the proceedings of the Assembly, while the accused were returning to the courtroom, during the control by the security staff of the Assembly, to the accused were found and seized a tear gas canister, which they kept without authorization. In the final session there were also accusations against the prosecutor of the case, Ilaz Beqiri by the defendants that there is a lack of evidence and professionalism.
