The British Minister of the Armed Forces, James Heappey, today at the OSCE Ministerial Summit in Skopje, has accused Russia of violating the OSCE principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity and the non-use of force with its attack on Ukraine.

Addressing those present at the summit, he said that the principles of the OSCE should be the foundation of peace on the European continent, as he demanded the immediate release of the OSCE personnel arrested by Russia.

The British minister has continued his accusations against official Moscow for undermining the work of the OSCE and the war in Ukraine.

The British minister recalled that the OSCE was created in the middle of the Cold War and since then, it has been at the center of Euro-Atlantic security and has had the full support of Britain.

Otherwise, the head of British diplomacy, David Cameron, before the start of the 30th Ministerial Summit of the OSCE, said that his country continues to support Ukraine and the OSCE.

He also said that Russia was responsible for the conflict and that their actions violated all the principles of the Helsinki Final Act, on which relations between states rest. /KosovaPress
