Gastronomers demand financing of workers' salaries and coverage of 40 percent of the rent
The Gastronomy Sector demands the financing of workers’ salaries and the coverage of rents for at least 40 percent. They ask for real help for businesses, and extending the working hours of cafes, because as they say, they are losing a lot. The chambers also have a request, where, according to them, the funds from the economic recovery package should be distributed for the activities that have been most affected during this time.
At yesterday's session, the 'saga' of the Draft Law on Economic Recovery has ended. 72 MPs voted in favor, while Vetëvendosje did not participate in the voting at all. The Draft Law, in addition to some assistance provided to businesses, also includes the possibility of withdrawing 10 percent of the pension trust.
