The President of the Russian Federation, has given an interview for the Russian TV "Russia 1", in which, among other things, he commented on the sudden entry of Russian forces in Kosovo on June 11, 1999.

Quotes from this interview have been brought to the attention by many media in the region, underlining Putin's views, who at the time, as he said he was the Secretary of the Security Council of Russia.
