The former President of Albania, Bujar Nishani, has passed away today. The news was published by the Albanian media which report that for months, he was hospitalized in Germany after suffering from a serious illness.

A month ago, Nishani was hospitalized after being infected with coronavirus. Two days after his hospitalization, his condition worsened and he was taken to Germany, where he died. Nishani had served as president of Albania from 2012 to 2017...
